The ZOIS Executive Summit 2025 in Vienna brought together industry leaders, experts and decision-makers to shape the future of IT quality and resilience.

This year’s event focused on risk mitigation and the critical role of services quality across all four pillars of the Zero Outage Industry Standard (ZOIS): People, Platforms, Processes and Security.

Participants enjoyed a full day of insightful keynotes, interactive breakout sessions and high-level discussions addressing the latest challenges and solutions in IT quality. It was also a fantastic opportunity to connect with senior colleagues, exchange ideas and gain strategic insights into navigating today’s complex digital landscape.

Dietmar Böckmann is a member of the Executive Board at BKS Bank since June 2023. His motto, "Going digital, but staying personal," reflects his approach—leading the bank’s digital change while keeping strong customer relationships. Prior to joining BKS Bank, he led the IT subsidiary of Erste Group for 15 years, including several years as its managing director. Now, at BKS Bank, he manages all digital operations, from IT to back-office operations, online sales, payments and Treasury. His goal is to make things easier for customers and include more sustainable financial products in the bank’s services. Thomas Hecht has more than 10 years of professional experience and 3 degrees from universities of applied sciences in the fields of corporate security and risk management, as well as information security and IT security. Through research activities and professional activities in an energy company, Thomas was also able to gain experience in the field of OT security. He has worked for various companies in the field of information security management that have either purchased ICT services or provide such services. For more than 4 years now he has been working for Deutsche Telekom, managing the Enterprise Security Architecture for Reliable ICT Service (ESARIS) for the global Enterprise IT service provider T-Systems. For over 1 year he has been leading the international team responsible for this. ESARIS was made mandatory in T-System a few years ago and has become an industry standard as part of the Zero Outage Industry Standard (ZOIS).

Gregory has a strong focus on ITSM practices and plays a key role in modernizing engineering processes.
